Let’s get one thing straight, moonbeam… mystery is great in magic, but not when it comes to your pricing.
I’ve seen it time and time again: amazing female entrepreneurs hiding their prices out of fear – fear of scaring people off, fear of judgement, or fear that they’ll have to justify their worth. And I totally get it.
Pricing can feel vulnerable AF. 😬💸
But here’s the truth – not showing your prices might actually be costing you clients.
Let’s talk about it 👇

✨ Transparency Builds Trust (Like, Fast)
In a world full of vague marketing and “DM me for prices” energy, being upfront about what your services cost is refreshing. It positions you as:
- Confident in your value
- Respectful of your potential client’s time
- A safe, honest expert
💬 Think about it: when you’re shopping for a service, and you land on a beautiful website with no prices anywhere… how do you feel? Frustrated? Suspicious? Clicking off?
Exactly. Stop hiding your prices.
🧠 It Filters Out the ‘Wrong’ People (And That’s a Good Thing)
Let’s get sassy for a sec. If someone can’t afford you right now, that’s totally okay. But wouldn’t you rather know that before you’ve spent 45 minutes on a discovery call, pouring your heart and energy into someone who was never going to say yes?
Pricing is a powerful boundary.
It’s not about being cold or unapproachable – it’s about protecting your time, energy, and calendar. When you clearly show your prices, you’re sending out a signal to the universe (and your dream clients):
“This is where I’m at. If you’re here too – amazing! Let’s talk.”
It ensures you attract people who are ready, emotionally, energetically, and financially.
And for the ones who aren’t quite there yet? That’s what your blogs, lead magnets, low-ticket offers, or even future versions of you are for. 🥰 You’re planting seeds now that may bloom later.
💡 Plus, when someone who is ready lands on your site and sees a clear price that matches the transformation they’re craving? That’s a full-body “YES!” moment. They already feel safe. They trust you. And they’re one step closer to reaching out.
Being upfront with your prices is one of the kindest things you can do – for them and for you.

😬 “But Won’t Showing My Prices Scare People Off?”
This is a common worry, and I hear it a lot.
Some business owners prefer to keep their prices hidden in the hope they can “convert” someone on a Zoom call first. They believe that if they get the person in the door, they’ll be able to justify the cost and win them over.
But let’s be real for a moment…
👋 I’ve been on the other side of that Zoom call. And honestly? It didn’t feel good.
I once got on a call with someone I was really excited to work with – their vibe felt aligned, their messaging spoke to me, but… they had no prices on their website. Still, I booked the call, thinking it might be within reach.
Then the big reveal came.
The price? Way out of my budget.
And cue: awkward silence and toe curl…
I felt embarrassed, deflated, and like I’d wasted both our time. 😔
Now, if a business doesn’t clearly share their prices – or at least a “starting from” ballpark – I just click away and look for someone else who does. I want to make informed decisions, not play a game of “guess the price and hope it doesn’t sting.”
Your dream clients are the same.
We’re busy, emotionally intelligent women who appreciate clarity and respect. Being upfront about your prices shows that you get it, and that you’re running your business with both heart and professionalism.
💁♀️ It Positions You as a Pro
Showing your prices screams:
“I know my worth. I’ve thought about my packages. I’ve done this before.”
It tells your potential client:
“This isn’t a side hustle. This is a business.”
Whether you’re charging £150 or £5,000, showing your prices gives your services structure, and shows you take your business and theirs seriously.
Plus, some clients may worry you’re quoting based on what you think they can afford, which feels super icky and unethical. Clear, upfront pricing instantly builds trust and shows you run your business with integrity.

🤑 You’re Not a Used Car Salesperson
Following on from my last point…
We’ve all experienced it: you finally reach out to someone about a service, and BOOM 💥 the high-pressure sales pitch kicks in.
By displaying your pricing clearly, you’re removing the ick. No secrets, no surprises. Just clear, aligned, honest business.
Transparency is magnetic. It gives your audience space to breathe and say, “Yes, this feels good to me.”
🎯 It Cuts Down the Time-Wasters
Honestly? You’ll save SO much time in your inbox.
When people know your rates up front:
- You get fewer “how much do you charge?” messages
- You don’t have to repeat yourself 10 times a week
- You avoid awkward price reveals mid-call
🙌 More time for spell-casting, designing, or putting your feet up with a cuppa and a cat on your lap, rewatching episodes of Vampire Diaries – or however you like to spend your free time.

🌕 But What If I Have Custom Pricing?
Totally fair! If your services vary (like mine often do), you can still:
- Provide “starting from” prices
- Share package ranges
- Or say something like: “Most clients invest between £1,500 and £3,000 for a full branding experience.”
That way, people still get a ballpark figure and can make an informed decision before reaching out.
🌟 Final Thoughts:
Not showing your prices doesn’t make you look exclusive — it often just makes you look out of reach, unorganised, or like you’re winging it. Remember, when a client knows your prices AND then books a Curiosity Call, they’re already halfway towards wanting to work with you.
So be bold, beautiful soul.
Claim your worth. Put your prices up with pride. Let your dream clients see what’s possible, and invite them to rise up and meet you there✨💸 Magic loves clarity. And so do your ideal clients.
