Welcome, and thank you for choosing to work with Infinity Creative. These terms set out how we’ll work together from the spark, across all of my core services and offerings, so we’re both clear from the start. I offer branding, websites, marketing, an online shop and a membership, and the General section below applies to all services. Each service section that follows adds the terms specific to that type of work. By paying for a service or product I provide, you agree to everything that applies to your chosen service.
General Terms
These apply to every service and product I offer, whether that’s branding, websites, marketing, my online shop, or my membership.
About The Company
Infinity Creative is a creative studio I established in March 2018. I’m Gemma Storey, the founder, and I carry out all branding and design work personally. I also work alongside my life and business partner, Adam Knapp, who looks after all web development and maintenance work. Throughout these terms, “I” and “me” refer to Gemma Storey, and where web work is involved, this is carried out by Adam on my behalf. My services and products are described in full on my website at infinity-creative.co.uk. By continuing to use this website, or by booking a service or buying a product from me, you (the client) agree to be bound by these terms. These terms, together with my privacy policy, govern your relationship with me, trading as Infinity Creative.
Communication & Working Hours
My Witching Hours: I’m busy conjuring creative magic Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 5:30pm UK time. I take weekends and UK public holidays off to recharge my wand. Occasionally I might escape for a holiday or a cheeky long weekend (because even brand alchemists need rest), but don’t worry, I’ll always give you a heads-up if any upcoming time off might affect your project. That way, you can flag anything urgent in advance and I’ll make it a top priority before we switch to rest mode.
Summoning Me: Infinity Creative is an online-based business, which means I primarily communicate via email, as this helps me stay organised and keep track of your project with ease. So if you ever need me, just know I’m only a spell (or email) away at [email protected]. When it’s time to dive deeper into your project, I’ll invite you to gather around my virtual cauldron (aka Zoom), where we can stir ideas together and chat through your feedback face to face.
Booking & Reserving Your Slot
Your place is secured once your start date is agreed in writing and your payment is made up front, whether that’s your full fee or the first instalment of your payment plan. Nothing is booked in until that first payment is received. I take on a limited number of clients at a time, so spaces are genuinely held for you. If you need to move your start date, please give me as much notice as you can.
Payment
Most services are available on one of two payment options, agreed before we begin:
- Payment in Full: the total fee is paid up front before any work starts.
- Payment Plan: the total fee is split across equal monthly instalments, with the first paid before work begins and the rest following monthly.
All prices are in GBP. Payment is taken securely through my website. I’ll send you a payment link, and this needs to be settled within 5 days of me sending it to keep your booking on track.
Payment plans run on a subscription basis through my website. Whichever day you make your first payment, the same amount will automatically renew on that date for the following months of your plan, so all instalments fall on the same day each month. If a payment plan instalment isn’t paid on time, work pauses until your account is up to date, and this may affect your timeline.
Please note: your final files and assets are only released once full payment has been received. On a payment plan, this means your finished deliverables are handed over after your final instalment clears, not before.
Refunds
Your first payment (whether your full fee or your first instalment) is non-refundable, as it reserves your slot and covers the strategy and preparation work that begins straight away. Once a phase has started, fees for that phase are non-refundable. If you choose to end the project early, any completed or in-progress work remains payable, and you’ll still owe any outstanding instalments up to the value of the work carried out.
Project Pause Clause
No one likes being ghosted, especially mid-creative magic. So, if I don’t hear from you within 14 days without prior warning (because hey, I totally get that life happens, illness, burnout, Mercury retrograde), I’ll gently wave my Pause Clause wand. That means your project will be put on hold, as ghosting disrupts my workflow and impacts other clients. If you do wish to return from the shadows, a £250 Project Resurrection Fee will apply, and I’ll book you into my next available slot.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel, please let me know via email. First payments and any fees for started phases are non-refundable, and any outstanding instalments up to the value of the work completed remain payable. If you cancel partway through, a partial refund may be offered, but only against the phases that haven’t yet been started, never on work already underway or completed. Cancellations are only considered in genuinely exceptional circumstances, for example a serious illness or a significant change in your personal situation, rather than a change of heart or a shift in direction. In those cases, please get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
Project Termination: I reserve the right to end our working relationship if the terms aren’t met, where things become unworkable, for example ongoing rudeness, a continued lack of trust, an inability to move forward after a reasonable number of unique concepts have been shown, or repeated failed payment plan instalments. I’ll always give you fair notice and a fair chance to put things right before it comes to that. Any suspension or termination won’t result in a refund, and all designs and work developed remain the full property of Gemma Storey (Infinity Creative).
Confidentiality
Anything you share with me in confidence stays between us, and I’d ask the same of you regarding my frameworks, processes, and materials. Any business information, files, or login details you share with me are kept secure and used only for the purposes of delivering your project, never shared with anyone else without your permission.
Liability
I pour real care into every project, but I can’t guarantee specific business results such as sales, followers, or income, as these depend on many things outside my control. My total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid for the service.
Third-Party Tools: I use trusted third-party services to run my business and deliver your work, such as Google Drive for file sharing, Canva for design, and a secure payment provider through my website. These come with their own terms, and while I choose them carefully, I can’t be held liable for any disruption, outage, or data loss caused by a third-party service that’s outside my control.
Unforeseen Circumstances
Every so often, life throws something none of us saw coming. If I’m unable to carry out or complete your project due to circumstances genuinely beyond my control, for example serious illness, bereavement, jury duty, natural disaster, war, fire, power or internet failure, or government restrictions, I won’t be held liable for any resulting delay. Should something like this happen, I’ll let you know as soon as I possibly can, and we’ll agree a fair way forward together, whether that’s pausing your project and picking it back up when I’m able, or rescheduling your timeline. Your understanding in these rare moments means the world.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Branding Terms
These apply in addition to the General Terms above whenever you book my Soul Aligned Branding service.
The Service
Soul Aligned Branding is a premium 1:1 service delivered through my 4-phase Brand Alchemy framework, carried out personally by Gemma Storey. It covers your brand strategy and identity as outlined on my website.
What I Need From You
This is a collaborative process and your input shapes the outcome. You agree to:
- Complete any questionnaires, homework, or prep before our sessions.
- Provide feedback within 3 working days at each phase.
- Attend our scheduled calls, including your Brandstorming Sessions (ideas) and Client Cauldron Calls (feedback).
- Supply any content, copy, or assets I need to move forward.
Timelines
This service typically takes 4 weeks to complete. I’ll always give you a realistic timeline, but dates are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or missed calls will move your completion date accordingly.
Revisions
I don’t cap revisions on your branding. Your brand needs to feel completely right, so we’ll keep refining until you’re truly happy with it. All I ask is that revisions stay within the scope of the project we agreed, rather than a change of direction partway through. If you decide you’d like something outside that original brief, we can always chat about it, and any additional work is charged at my standard rate of £85 per hour.
Delivering Your Final Files
Once you’ve given your magical sign-off, your final branding files will be lovingly uploaded to our shared Google Folder. You’ll have 2 weeks to download everything safely, as space is limited and I’ll need to clear it ready for the next enchanting client. Inside, you’ll find all 6 logo file types for both print (PDF, AI, EPS) and web (JPG, PNG, SVG). Just a friendly heads-up: if you’re on a payment plan, files will be delivered once the final instalment has been collected.
Ownership & Copyright
- Ownership of the final approved brand assets transfers to you once your project is paid in full. Until then, all work, drafts, and final files remain my property.
- Final assets and source files are released only after full payment has been received. On a payment plan, nothing is handed over until the last instalment clears.
- I reserve the right to showcase your finished brand in my portfolio, on social media, and in marketing.
- Stock imagery and third-party licences are subject to their own terms, and any licensing costs are your responsibility once handed over.
Font Licences: Sometimes I’ll select a premium font to sprinkle that extra magic into your logo design. My licence covers creating uneditable logo files only, so if you’d love to use that same font across your Canva designs, website, or other platforms, you’ll need to purchase your own licence (don’t worry, I’ll show you exactly where to find it). I’ll always consider your budget and we can stick to free fonts if needed, but just bear in mind this may slightly limit the creative spellwork for your brand enchantment. It’s also against licensing law for me to share a copy of any font I’ve personally purchased, which is why you’ll need your own licence to use it commercially elsewhere.
Unused Concepts: All original preparation materials, sketches, visuals, and unused ideas I show and consider remain the property of Infinity Creative. Permission isn’t given to use, modify, alter, replicate, or borrow any of the previous ideas or concepts I present but that don’t make it into your final design. I’m free to use these unused ideas for future conceptual client work and for the branding templates sold in my shop. Where an unused idea shares a similar look and style to your finished logo, I’ll rework and restyle it so the end result is sufficiently different, so there’s never any conflict with your brand.
Trademarks: Running trademark, copyright, or legal name searches is a lengthy and often costly process, so this sits outside what I’m able to help with. If you’d like your logo registered as a trademark, you’ll need to seek your own legal advice first. Owning your brand assets isn’t the same as them being cleared for registration, so it’s worth checking before you file.
Naming Responsibility: You take full responsibility for making sure your company, product, or brand name is legally free and available to use before we begin. Please check it isn’t already in use by someone else and doesn’t infringe an existing trademark or registered business name. Should any legal issue arise with the name after the project is complete, no refunds are possible and I can’t be held responsible for any problems that follow.
